9Strokes is a street-wear brand that celebrates the chaotic black experience in ways of humor, beauty, shock, joy and awareness. Ranging from subjects such as black history, world events, pop culture/memes and black issues.

Name taken from the very controversial 3 Strikes Law and the first implementation of the law, in Washington State, in 1993, the name 9Strokes (with a few choice changes) was born in 2020 in Seattle, Washington.

We hope to create designs that educate, inspire, provoke thought, spark conversation and make people take action in the systems and troubles that have plagued the black community for way too long across the globe, while illustrating a promising future for all black people across the world.
